Apprentices at Play Dragon Rally 1964

The 1964 Dragon Rally, the third of its kind, took place over the weekend of 8th and 9th February and, compared with the previous year's horrendous snowy conditions, enjoyed quite balmy weather.

The target destination for the riders was Gwrych Castle in North Wales and the AMC apprentices who took up the challenge were Roy Cunningham, Keith Jackson, Fred Miles and Dave Smith.

The following pictures of the intrepid works team were taken by Fred Miles; hence his non-appearance in any of them.
