We are indebted to long-term corresponent Peter Morris for the following pair of RAF aerial reconnaisance photos taken of the area that includes the AMC Plumsted factory.

The first photo, showing the Burrage Grove/railway track side of the factory, was taken on 02 April 1946, one year after the end of the second world war.

The second one was take the following year, on 29 April 1947, with the factory viewed from the Plumstead Road side.

To aid identification, the AMC factory is outlined in red, the office section in yellow and the service/race shop/packing area in green.
